MEU March 2020 (Short Version)

On 26 March 2020, The Economist Intelligence Unit (the EIU) revised its world economic growth forecast in 2020 from 2.3% to -2.2% due to the COVID-19 pandemic. China, which previously projected to grow by 5.9% in 2020, is now expected to grow by only 1%. Forecasts for some developed countries like the United States (US), Germany, France, South Korea, and Japan have even shown a possible recession with negative economic growth. Indonesia, in the worstcase scenario, is predicted to grow by 1%, and there is also the possibility of negative growth in 2020.
